Fabric and Construction
Clads™ are a unique coloured fabric covering for cricket batting and wicket-keeping pads and come in pairs. Clads™ are made of two specially selected fabrics - one on the front and one on the reverse.

The reverse fabric provides a robust material for the front of the batting pad. It is also the fabric that has the least attractiveness to the velcro found on cricket batting pad straps. It will reduce any "picking" if rubbed by the velcro. Importantly, the reverse fabric retains the definition and shape of the cricket batting pad. From a metre or so away, the shape of the cricket batting pad can still be seen, including the knee roll and the seam joins in the leg. The stretch fabric provides the flexibility to enable Clads™ to be applied easily over cricket batting pads.
